Made in Arizona

Survey it. Model it. Grade it. Without the five-figure quote.

Phase Center builds iPhone and iPad software for the dirt world — collect points, stake out designs, build surfaces, and see grade from the cab, with the RTK receivers you already own. Built by an Arizona excavation family that got tired of what this technology costs.

What we build

One system, three jobs

The same project data flows from the field to the tailgate to the cab. No exports, no dealer install, no subscription treadmill.

Collect · stakeout

Field survey

Daily field work with big, glove-friendly readouts.

  • Fast point collection and stakeout, built for sun glare and gloves
  • DXF linework and LandXML surfaces straight from your engineer
  • Standard NMEA over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth — starting with Emlid Reach RS3 and RS4
In development · field-tested on real Arizona jobs
Surfaces · linework

Surface modeling

The office's job, done at the tailgate.

  • Build surfaces, linework, and points on your phone or iPad
  • Design a pad or a swale on site, not back at the desk
  • Feeds the survey and grade tools directly — one file chain

In-cab indicate

Grade guidance

In-cab indicate, priced like software — not like a second machine.

  • See cut and fill against the design surface from the seat
  • Your iPad, affordable RTK, and motion sensors — no dealer install
  • Guidance, not autopilot: the operator stays in control, always
In design · public pricing when it ships

Product names will be announced when the apps ship.

About

Built in the seat, not the boardroom

Phase Center is an independent Arizona software company, founded and run by a family that runs excavators and fine-grades pads for a living.

The tools we use every day taught us two things: precision GNSS has gotten cheap, and the software that puts it to work hasn't. 3D grade control still runs $25,000 to $100,000 installed. Phase Center exists to close that gap for the small contractor — the owner-operator with two machines, not the fleet with a technology department.

The name is the surveyor's term for the exact point on a GNSS antenna that a position is measured to. Everything we build starts from that point and works outward to the blade.

We build native apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, engineered for jobsite reality: sun glare, gloves, spotty coverage, and operators who need an answer in one glance. Every feature gets proven on real dirt before it ships.
